Working with a traditional [floor fan](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-fufu), the forts are able to be [inflated to offer an expansive space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intermittent-dome) to play and pretend when kids can't or don't want to go outside. The Air Forts come in two color options including pink and camouflage, and feature an expansive section for playing that is protected from the fan in order to prevent kids from pushing it over or touching it. This ensures that playtime is fun for kids of all ages and that there aren't any chances for injury. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.7/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 97% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Indoor Inflatable Play:** The trend of indoor inflatable forts provides a safe and fun play space for kids, encouraging imaginative play even when stuck inside. - **Formalized Fort-building:** The formalization of fort-building with Air Forts streamlines the process and offers a convenient, easy-to-use option for kids to create their own play spaces. - **Indoor Play Solutions:** Indoor inflatable forts offer a solution for parents and caregivers looking for alternative options to keep kids entertained inside. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Children's Entertainment:** The children's entertainment industry can tap into the trend of indoor inflatable forts by offering innovative play structures and experiences for kids. - **Home Goods:** The home goods industry can explore opportunities for designing and manufacturing inflatable play products that provide safe and engaging experiences for children. - **Outdoor Recreation:** The outdoor recreation industry can leverage the trend of indoor inflatable forts by adapting their products and services to cater to rainy day or indoor play occasions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Inflatable House-Shaped Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-architecture-inflatable-tent.md) - [Transforming Imaginative Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kiddie-couch.md) - [Automatic Self-Inflating Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfinflating-furniture.md) - [Inflatable Geodesic Adventure Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aerogogo-aerotent-series.md) - [Tent‑Filled Daycare Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deya-day-care.md) - [Automated Inflatable Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automated-inflatable-tent.md) - [Four-Season Inflatable Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fourseason-inflatable-tent.md) - [Self-Building Igloo Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inland-iglu.md) - [Pastel Indoor Bounce Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smol-bounce-houses.md)
