With a gyroscopic design aesthetic, the 'Satellite' can be directed in a full 720-degrees of area. This allows the fan to circulate air more effectively and offer the utmost precision as to where the wind will blow. Designed by Chen Chia-Wei, the 'Satellite air fan would also come with an accompanying [smartphone app](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fanpro) that would allow for enhanced airflow coverage. Connecting to devices via Bluetooth, the 'Satellite' fan could be set to blow in the direction of the smartphone user for total comfort in open spaces. The gyroscopic design aesthetic also gives the unit a futuristic and almost art-like feeling. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 76% | Activity: 74% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Omni-directional Fans:** Multi-directional fans are gaining popularity in the cooling industry. - **Gyroscopic Fan Design:** Gyroscopic design is disrupting traditional fan structures and offering new possibilities. - **Bluetooth-controlled Fans:** Fans controlled by Bluetooth connectivity are becoming more mainstream, providing opportunities for remote control and automation. ### Where This Applies - **Home Appliances:** Gyroscopic fans could transform the home appliance industry, offering more powerful and precise cooling options. - **Smartphone Accessories:** Bluetooth-controlled fans could disrupt the smartphone accessory industry as a functional add-on for improved user experience. - **Interior Design:** Omni-directional fans with a gyroscopic design could provide an element of futuristic art to interior design offerings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Connected Multi-Mode Table Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreo-wingboost-x.md) - [Whole Room-Cooling Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drew-air-circulator-pedestal-fan.md) - [Rectangular Bladeless Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rectangular-bladeless-fans.md) - [Lamp-Equipped Fan Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/abode-gale-fan.md) - [Ultra-Flexible Portable Tiny Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-fans.md) - [Omni-Directional AC Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aux-4d.md) - [Jet Engine-Inspired Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tello-zet.md) - [Compact Circulator Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circulator-fan.md) - [Smart Ceiling Fan Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fanpro.md)
