# Luxe Intelligent Watch Boxes The Audemars Piguet AI-Powered Box Automates Perpetual-Calendars By Amy Duong | Published 2025-11-23 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aipowered-box References: [audemarspiguet](https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/en/news/origins/qp-setting-device.html) The [Audemars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audemars-piguet-150th) [Piguet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audemars-piguet-x-kaws) device introduces an AI-powered watch box that automates the process of setting and correcting a [perpetual calendar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/masterlink-perpetual-calendar), a task that usually requires careful manual work. The box uses a camera to read the dial, interprets the indicators through computer vision, and then adjusts the crown with an internal mechanism until the calendar is fully aligned. The system completes the sequence in a few minutes and removes the risk of damaging a complex movement through incorrect handling. The design gives collectors an easier way to maintain precision without relying on service appointments for routine corrections. The form factor is compact enough for a desk or storage shelf, and the operation is intentionally simple. The watch is placed inside, the lid is closed, and the device manages the entire correction cycle. The project shows how traditional watchmaking can evolve through supportive technology that preserves the craft while easing the ownership experience. The box reflects a growing interest in tools that streamline care for high-complication timepieces.
