# Hanging Fruit-Inspired Chandeliers The Aim Pendant Lamp by the Bouroullecs is Adjustable By Meghan Young | Published 2013-06-21 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aim-pendant-lamp References: [fastcodesign](http://www.fastcodesign.com/1672829/the-bouroullecs-reinvent-the-chandelier-as-hanging-fruit) & [usa.flos](https://usa.flos.com/) The Aim Pendant Lamp can be clustered with others to look like [hanging fruit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blossom-chandelier). Of course, they appear more industrial than organic. Nevertheless, the cords hang like vines, which will evoke a sense of the outdoors for those who want to bring a touch of nature into their home. As practical as it is beautiful, the [drooping cord](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nova-light) of the Aim Pendant Lamp serves a greater purpose. It allows the head of the light fixture to be adjusted in different positions depending on what is needed. The designers, French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, state, "The actual reflector is, after all, less important, simply a fruit hanging from any one of the cables. Aim is therefore not just a lamp, but an installation in a nutshell." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 29% | Activity: 8% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Clustered Lighting:** The trend of clustering multiple pendant lamps together to create a unique lighting installation. - **Nature-inspired Design:** The trend of incorporating organic elements, like hanging fruit, into lighting fixtures for a touch of nature indoors. - **Adjustable Lighting Fixtures:** The trend of creating lighting fixtures with adjustable heads or positions for versatile lighting options. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Lighting Design:** The lighting design industry can explore innovative ways to cluster pendant lamps and incorporate nature-inspired elements for unique and aesthetically pleasing lighting solutions. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can tap into the trend of adjustable lighting fixtures to offer customers versatile and customizable lighting options that suit their preferences and needs. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can incorporate clustered lighting and nature-inspired design trends to create visually stunning and nature-inspired interior spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Outlet-Equipped Workstation Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avro-pendant-lamp.md) - [Hanging Connected Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-pendant-light.md) - [Fruit-Inspired Lighting Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/banana-lamp.md) - [Plant-Supporting Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/led-growlight.md) - [Stacked Illuminator Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/konnect-pendant-light.md) - [Monkey Knot-Integrated Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/small-knot-pendant-lamp.md) - [Elegant Axis-Mounted Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pendulum-lamp.md) - [Bakery-Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/croissant-pendant-light.md) - [Powered Pendant Illuminations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avro-pendant.md)
