AI Tax Assist is a [conversational chatbot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twin-chat-ai) that leverages the power of AI to answer questions from taxpayers. Only available to those using the paid versions of H&R Block’s DIY tax software, AI Tax Assist allows users to ask questions on tax rules, deductions, possible exemptions, and other tax-related queries. For questions that can't be answered by the chatbot, a human tax expert is available to provide more personalized, one-on-one advice. As Chris Linderwell, Vice President of Consumer Tax Products at H&R Block, said of the new AI-powered tool, "We want to empower customers to ask questions as deep as they want, and over time, we can give more personalized answers to their questions on our platform through AI Tax Assist."
