# Portable Wind Turbines Agricultural Wind Generator is a Breeze to Transport and Use By Katie Cordrey | Published 2010-08-29 | Eco Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/agricultural-wind-generator References: [conceptmobiles](http://www.conceptmobiles.com/agro-e-sustentable-wind-generator-concept/) & [tuvie](http://www.tuvie.com/agro-e-sustentable-wind-generator-features-brilliant-functionality-with-ease-of-operating/) This agricultural wind generator is a portable wind turbine that makes generating electricity from the wind possible in remote areas -- especially on a farm. The [trailer-mounted turbine tower](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/basecamp-20xe) is made of telescoping sections that raise using a chain pulley system. The trailer acts as the wind turbine base and not only [holds the batteries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trail-series) and generator, but provides the means by which the portable wind turbine can be moved.
