While paintings or photographs of natural and botanical elements are commonly used as [decorative accents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-interior-accents), framed paintings that are actually made up of moss and plants -- seen in the 'Artisan Moss' collection are not as common. Artist Erin Kinsey channels her passion for environmentally friendly design and creates these serene nature scenes as a result. The pieces come on a frame that is made up of [reclaimed wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seed-stories), require no upkeep and due to their use of natural moss and plants -- no two paintings are the same. This beautiful agricultural art mixes nature with design to create unique pieces that would brighten up any space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.8/10 - Popularity: 100% | Activity: 97% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Eco-friendly Decor:** Opportunity for businesses to create sustainable and nature-themed decor items. - **Living Art:** Potential for businesses to combine art and plants to create living, ever-changing artworks. - **Biophilic Design:** Businesses can tap into the growing interest in incorporating natural elements into interior design. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can explore sustainable and nature-inspired design concepts. - **Art and Craft:** Artists and creators can experiment with integrating live plants into their artwork, offering unique and eco-friendly pieces. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate living art installations that bring nature indoors and enhance the well-being of spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artsy Hanging Plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-air-plant-mobile.md) - [Natural Moss Terrariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petite-foret-plus.md) - [Vertical Workstation Wall Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-wall-planter.md) - [Living Moss Humidifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moss-humidifier-concept.md) - [Wall-Mounted Hydroponic Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hydroartpod.md) - [Water-Less Minimal Design Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/botnica.md) - [Agriculturally Inspired Art Projects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farming-photographs.md) - [Architecture-Inspired Indoor Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vegetment-vegetable-cultivator.md) - [Blooming Clustered Art Forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/structural-botany.md)
