Fans of [Drunk Elephant's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cluma-hydrabright-serum) Virgin Marula Oil will soon be able to appreciate a new hybrid retinol-oil formulation called A-Gloei Maretinol Oil, which enhances the familiar formula with a low-grade 0.5% retinol. This beginner-friendly retinol product is beneficial for evening out texture, refining and clarifying the skin, and in a way that reduces the risk of irritation and redness thanks to its soothing formula. Alongside virgin Marula oil and retinol, the skincare oil contains plant-derived ceramides and soybean oil.

A-Gloei Maretinol Oil gets its name from the straightforward features of the product; 'A' stands for [Vitamin](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/primer-moisturizer-gift) A and Tiffany Masterson explained to [Refinery29](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/double-duty-by-lazy-skincare) that "The 'Gloei' actually means 'Glow' in Afrikaans, which speaks to the Marula oil in the formula, which is sourced from Namibia."
