Matthias has an extensive catalog of these images and was featured on Trend Hunter before with [abandoned images](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/matthias-haker) of the same effect. The previous gallery showcased homes and living spaces, but this latest collection is filled with coliseums, concert halls and warehouses. His latest subject expansion is most welcome as proven by the glorious pictures. The images really cause one to wonder what sort of stories these old buildings hold in the woodwork, what kind of dignitaries rubbed elbows there and for what purpose were they abandoned. In any case, through his aged architecture art, these buildings will never be forgotten again. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 41% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Aged Architecture Art:** Matthias Haker's photographs of abandoned buildings turned into art, creates opportunities for the interior design industry to capture the beauty of decay - **Abandoned Buildings:** The popularity of Matthias Haker's art reflects a growing trend in the tourism industry for visiting abandoned sites and capturing their beauty - **Environmental Conservation:** Aged Architecture Art highlights the potential for preserving historic buildings that are often left in disrepair, encouraging investment in restoration and conservation industries ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** Matthias Haker's work offers inspiration for a new trend in interior design that celebrates the beauty of decay and age - **Tourism:** Abandoned Buildings have become an increasingly popular attraction in the tourism industry.
