The team was comprised of designers and engineers, ensuring that all of the details were refined. Operations analyst Kendal Bagby noted, “You can’t have a Nike product without performance at its core. So we kept asking: How can we make even the smallest elements more performance-oriented?” The surface texture of the pendant has contours that are made from elevation data from After Dark Tour race courses. Lead Computational designer, Srah Hammond adds, “We extracted elevation data from the six different race locations.
