Designer Marleen Kaptein and company 'Label/Breed' created a collection of furniture that was made using aerospace robotics with the help of the Netherlands Aerospace Center.

The [recycled carbon fiber chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ruffini) and lamps were crafted by robots that wrapped the reinforced plastic with an extreme precision that enabled the intricate designs of the products. The automated machines aid in preventing waste as well, as they are able to get the most out of each strand of carbon fiber. The chairs have a grid design that carries through the seats and backs, creating a design that looks both [futuristic and Gothic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polarisgo-chair) at the same time. [Lamp shades](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rosana-sousa) are made similarly to the chairs, with a more simplistic and modern design.

Marleen Kaptein and her collaborators hope that these products will show how the resourceful material can be used with the help of aerospace robotics to create an array of different products.
