This launch marks the first time since the 1990s that the ergonomic seating icon has been available in hues beyond neutral grays and blacks. The new Jasper and Nightfall hues has been achieved through material innovations that allow consistent coloring across both the frame and Pellicle suspension. The Aeron Chair update also includes significant sustainability advancements, including a redesigned aluminum base that weighs 1.85 pounds less than its predecessor, the use of recycled and bio-based nylons, and an estimated 12% reduction in the chair's global average embodied carbon footprint. For remote workers who spend long hours at home desks, the Aeron Chair's ergonomic features — such as PostureFit SL for spinal alignment and Harmonic 2 Tilt for balanced movement — provide medical-grade support that can reduce back pain and improve productivity.
