The office sits on the top of a four-story home situated high above the San Francisco cityscape and features a 180-degree view of the surrounding landscape. The roof also features an open profile to provide [ample illumination during the daytime](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sauvage-tv), while the horizontal windows in the office have angle details that further enhance the modern aesthetic of the space. The 'Aerie' office is equipped with an expansive desk, but also boasts ample lounge space with a daybed that could potentially allow the room to transform into a guest room. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 76% | Activity: 12% | Freshness: 16% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Elevated Office Spaces:** Designing offices on high locations with a focus on the surrounding landscape creating a unique and calm work environment - **Aesthetic Office Design:** Creating functional and modern office spaces by focusing on clean designs, unique angles and ample illumination - **Multi-functional Workspaces:** Designing offices with the flexibility to transform into additional functional spaces like guest rooms to optimize space usage ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Real Estate:** Opportunity to develop high-rise buildings with rooftop spaces or transform existing ones into elevated office spaces with modern designs - **Interior Design:** Opportunity to create aesthetic and functional office spaces that promote mental wellness and balance - **Hospitality:** Opportunity to provide multi-functional workspaces for business travelers that can be converted into guest rooms ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Remote Work-Catering Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-plow.md) - [Californian Modern Office Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/day-job.md) - [Wooden Site Home OFfices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moss-rock.md) - [Valley-Inspired Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitaoka-group-office.md) - [Self-Designed Tranquil Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-saransh.md) - [Wired Grid Open Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scienceio.md) - [Home-Inspired Office Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harella-house.md) - [Sustainably Designed Mumbai Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office27.md) - [Adaptable Mobile Professional Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airy-office-desk.md)
