The series titled 'The Play Project' was created as the result of a collaboration between he and his wife, Lin Hui-Yi. The couple hired an aerial photography company called Avetics to help them capture views of parks from above. Using maps to guide each drone to a specific location in Singapore, Avetics was able to snap hundreds of beautiful photographs. An employee from Avetics would guide a [drone carrying](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gingerbread-village-in-the-sky) Chow's [Nikon](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heartography) Coolpix, a compact camera. Using an LCD screen, either Chow or another Avetics employee would snap the perfect image in the series of gorgeous playground views. These aerial park images honor Stefen Chow's childhood, which was spent running and jumping through various playgrounds. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 81% | Activity: 74% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/stylephotography) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Aerial Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced drone technology paired with high-quality cameras specifically for capturing aerial images. - **Collaborative Partnerships:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Establish partnerships between photographers, drone companies, and camera manufacturers to create innovative solutions for capturing unique perspectives. - **Nostalgic Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Combine nostalgic playground design elements with modern technology, such as drone photography, to create new and exciting playground experiences. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the integration of drones in various photography genres, expanding the possibilities for capturing unique perspectives. - **Drone Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced drone technology with enhanced camera capabilities to cater to the growing demand for aerial photography. - **Playground Equipment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate technology, such as drone photography, into playground structures to provide new interactive experiences for children. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Organic Urban Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-boulder-park.md) - [Abstract Colorfully Vibrant Playscapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wired-scape.md) - [Structural Energetic Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archipelago-playscape.md) - [Landmark-Inspired Sleek Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doha-modern-playground.md) - [Generational-Lasting Dynamic Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mike-hewson-2.md) - [Nature-Inspired Indoor Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sarit-shani-hay.md) - [Collaboration Concept Photography Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dji-x-gopro-fpv-cncpt.md) - [Explorative Artwork Playground Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cuddly-playground.md) - [Bright Playful Sport Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-and-nike.md)
