The [augmented reality (AR) headset](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-learning-glasses) is targeted towards children with dyslexia and uses eye-tracking technology to trace the gaze of the wearer and provide a virtual assistance ruler for them to follow along. The size of the text can also be augmented in real-time for additional support, while recording and smart voice assistant functions round out the wearable as the perfect way to support children learning to read. The Adventure Whale AR Glasses maintain a [slim construction](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/full-feature-colorful-ar-ai-glasses) that's comfortable enough for extended periods of wear to make them great for use all day in the classroom. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 68% | Freshness: 20% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Child-focused AR Glasses:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating AR glasses specifically designed for children with dyslexia, using eye-tracking technology and adjustable text size for enhanced classroom support. - **Virtual Assistance Ruler:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in developing a virtual assistance ruler using AR technology to help children with dyslexia follow along with text in the classroom. - **Smart Voice Assistant Functions:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in integrating smart voice assistant functions into AR glasses for children, adding an additional layer of support and accessibility for students learning to read. ### Who This Affects Most - **Education Technology:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the education technology industry by developing AR glasses tailored for children with dyslexia, providing enhanced classroom support and accessibility. - **Assistive Technology:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the assistive technology industry by creating AR glasses with eye-tracking technology and adjustable text size to assist children with dyslexia in the classroom. - **Wearable Technology:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the wearable technology industry by incorporating smart voice assistant functions into AR glasses for children, offering an innovative and supportive learning tool. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Child-Focused Mixed Reality Headsets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edi-mixed-reality-headset.md) - [Kid-Friendly AR Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ar-helmet.md) - [AR-Powered Eye Training Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eyes-amblyopia-trainer.md) - [AI-Powered Tutoring Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mentorlens.md) - [Practically Styled AR Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oneweek-ar-glasses.md) - [Superhuman Sight AR Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/utrack-ar.md) - [3D Designer Headset Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-eye-ar-glasses.md) - [Dual-Camera AR Eyewear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superhexa-vision.md) - [Developer-Targeted AR Eyewear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xreal-light.md)
