# Winter Wonderland Pug Parties These Adorable Pugs Go Sledding in Pom Pom Hats By Andrew Sztein | Published 2013-03-03 | Pop Culture Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adorable-pugs References: [laughingsquid](http://laughingsquid.com/pugs-in-pom-pom-hats-go-sledding/) & [youtube](http://www.youtube.com/user/TheFabulousPugModels?feature=watch) If the winter blues have got you down, have no fear, because these adorable pugs are going to show you how to have fun in the snow. The adorable pugs in question were dressed up in [pom pom hats and wool sweaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/market-x-peanuts), packed into a sled, and sent on their way downhill in a winter wonderland. The video is just one of the productions from [YouTube](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paris-pups) channel TheFabulousPugModels. The channel's videos feature the four adorable pugs going on all sorts of wacky adventures. Their adventures are usually centered around holidays like Christmas, Valentine's Day and Halloween. Lest you think these adorable pugs only come out to play from October to February, there's also videos of pug parties at the beach and indoor photoshoots. I'm especially impressed that the pugs don't feel the urge to leave the sled, even as it picks up speed down the hill. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 85% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Humor](https://www.trendhunter.com/humor) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Pet Winter Apparel Trend:** Opportunity to develop specialized pet winter clothing and accessories to cater to pet owners looking to dress up their pets during the winter season. - **Pet Holiday Themed Activities Trend:** Opportunity to create unique holiday-themed events and activities that involve pets, particularly dogs, to cater to the pet lover market. - **Pet Video Entertainment Trend:** Opportunity to produce entertaining videos featuring pets, particularly dogs, in different scenarios and share them online to create a loyal following and monetize the channel. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Pet Clothing and Accessories Industry:** The industry can create a dedicated line of winter apparel for pets, such as dogs, to keep them warm during the winter season. - **Pet Activity and Event Planning Industry:** The industry can organize different holiday-themed events and activities that involve pets, particularly dogs, to cater to the increasing pet lover market. - **Pet Video Production and Sharing Industry:** The industry can produce entertaining pet videos, particularly featuring dogs, and share them on online platforms to grow a following and monetize the channel through ads or sponsorships. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Holiday-Centric Pet Outfits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petsmart-2.md) - [Festive Pet Streaming Services](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-for-the-pawlidays.md) - [Adorable Holiday Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/burberrys-holiday-campaign.md) - [Winter Imagery Beer Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/budweiser-holiday-cans.md) - [Outdoor Adventure Blankets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puffle-zero.md) - [Festive Dog Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/festive-dog-toys.md) - [Printed Pet Sweaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smiley-sweater.md) - [Stylish Sherpa Dog Jackets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sherpa-dog-jacket.md) - [Seasonal Dog Toy Subscriptions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/subscription-boxes-for-dogs.md)
