Drawn by London-based photographer and artist Ieva Blaževičiūtė, her series titled 'Gloomy Business' can currently be viewed on [Instagram](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world). In the photo collection, black and white images have been given a personal touch by the artist with a series of odd creatures and animal doodles juxtaposing the otherwise forlorn settings and subjects. The drawing style takes on a somewhat dream-like feel with its careful positioning within each black and white frame. The careful use of the color red within each of these adorable illustrations that make up Gloomy Business helps to make the contrast all the more memorable. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 79% | Activity: 72% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Whimsical Illustrations:** Opportunity for incorporating playful and imaginative illustrations into various forms of visual content. - **Visual Personalization:** Opportunity to enhance and customize visual content through the addition of unique and personalized illustrations. - **Contrasting Elements:** Opportunity to create visual interest by juxtaposing contrasting elements in artistic compositions. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography:** New possibilities for photographers to add artistic flare and creativity to their images through illustrations. - **Graphic Design:** Opportunity to incorporate illustrations into various design mediums, such as websites, advertisements, and print materials. - **Social Media:** Enhance visual content on social media platforms through the addition of eye-catching illustrations and unique artistic expressions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [Image Stylization Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doodlify.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [AI Pet Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawmypet.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md) - [Playful Cat Illustrations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/open-meow.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Striking Urban Wildlife Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clare-allin.md) - [Playful Doodle-Emblazoned Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sam-cox.md)
