This desire is most potent in the world of the children's room. Belgian designer Pierre-Emmanuel Vandeputte, however, attempts to address this with Altezza — a piece of [multi-functional furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sisto) that is expected to "grow and adapt with your child." The product is very much a "central piece in a [growing child's bedroom](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/piccalio-bedbed)." The pinewood frame is made to be sturdy, while the four ladders offer a certain kind of functionality. Moreover, the [adaptable furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chameleon-furniture) features "three lengths of Batyline fabric that can be reconfigured again and again." The entirety of Pierre-Emmanuel Vandeputte's concept is centered around the child's essence, its dream-like consciousness and the need for freedom.
