# Adaptable Clothes Racks The Leaning Loop Storage System Keeps A Range of Items Neatly Arranged By Amelia Roblin | Published 2015-01-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adaptable-clothes-rack References: [design-milk](http://design-milk.com/leaning-loop-jason-van-der-burg/) & [leaningloop](http://leaningloop.ca) The foyer of any home has many demands placed upon it, requiring solutions like this adaptable clothes rack put into place. As people move in and out of the front door, articles of clothing, accessories and certain personal possessions are picked up and put down at this threshold. Jason van der Burg created the Leaning Loop as a multipurpose and all-in-one open closet that's capable of storing a variety of different items. Six pegs make it an effective hat and coatrack, a lined lower shelf can accommodate a few pairs of shoes, and an upper ledge is perfect for the placement of phones, wallets, keys and eyewear. One bonus feature of this adaptable clothes rack is its framed panel on top. This can be either a mirror or a chalkboard according to the preference of the user. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Adaptable Clothes Racks:** Adaptable clothes racks to store a variety of different items at the foyer. - **Multipurpose Open Closets:** Multipurpose open closets that can double as storage and decor. - **Customizable Home Storage Solutions:** Customizable home storage solutions designed to cater to individual preferences. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Organization:** The home organization industry can benefit from offering adaptable storage solutions for modern homes. - **Furniture:** Furniture manufacturers can innovate by creating multi-functional pieces that can cater to different storage needs at home. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can utilize adaptable clothes racks as a versatile feature that enhances the functionality of a space. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Open-Concept Clothing Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhutte-clothes-hanger-rack.md) - [Stylish Multi-Use Entryway Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/entryway-shoe-rack.md) - [Envelope-Style Shoe Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shoe-storage-rack.md) - [Minimal Shoe Rack Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tokyo-shoe-rack.md) - [Chinese Character-Shaped Coat Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/resting-coat-rack.md) - [Customizable Style-Conscious Shelving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ledoux-modular-shelf-system.md) - [Wall-Mounted Wall Rack](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/velto.md) - [Pull-Up Bar-Integrated Clothing Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rak.md) - [Adaptable Flat-Pack Shelving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flat-pack-shelving.md)
