Drawing design and name inspiration from a diamond, the chair features armrests that are independent from the backrest that extend from the front legs, while the fluid aesthetic makes it distinctly refined. The [untreated nature of the European Oak](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tanuvi-hegde) paired with the rich dark wool creates an unmistakably Scandinavian furniture piece that acts as an accent chair, but clearly steals the spotlight from other items in the room. The 'Adamantem' chair also features an [ergonomic design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elgato-embrace) that will support the full upper extension of the legs and just the right amount of the back for optimal posture. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Fluid Aesthetic Design:** Opportunity for furniture designers to create seating solutions with a distinct and refined fluid aesthetic. - **Independent Armrests:** Potential for chair manufacturers to create seating solutions with armrests that are independent from the backrest, providing a unique and supportive design. - **Ergonomic Support:** Demand for seating solutions that prioritize optimal posture and provide full upper extension leg support, presenting an opportunity for ergonomic furniture designers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** Opportunity for furniture designers to create innovative seating solutions with a charmingly handsome design inspired by diamonds. - **Chair Manufacturing:** Potential for chair manufacturers to disrupt the market with innovative seating solutions that feature independent armrests for enhanced comfort and support. - **Ergonomic Furniture:** Growing demand for ergonomic furniture presents an opportunity for the industry to develop seating solutions that prioritize optimal posture and leg support. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Versatile Dynamic Armchair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dynamic-armchair.md) - [Ergonomic Versatile Wooden Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergonomic-chair-1.md) - [Otherworldly-Inspired Dynamic Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cosmos-chair.md) - [Supportive Lightning Bolt Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightning-chair.md) - [Structurally Complex Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-arch-chair.md) - [Stone Vein-Inspired Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ana-chair.md) - [Sculptural Upholstered Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amia.md) - [Music-Inspired Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-chair1.md) - [Nostalgic Bistro-Style Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aroma-chair.md)
