Designed by a Dutch studio, HenningMade, the beautifully crafted furniture has a vertically stretched white center sandwiched between two panels of mahogany. With its own distinctive and humanized first name, 'Regina' gives off personal qualities of intrigue and style to back up her human-like name. The [mahogany wood is laser cut](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/genipadu-sideboard) to create linear details that contrast the acrylic material's imperfect oval pattern. The textured pattern of the white acrylic panels create dimension and give the cabinet character. Finally, the [cabinet has four panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nelson-basic), each a symmetrical square, opening up to unveil deep functional shelves with room to fit clothing, bedding or a homeowner's trinkets. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 79% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Visually Intriguing Furniture:** Designing furniture that is not just practical, but also doubles as a piece of art using mixed mediums such as acrylic, wood, and steel. - **Laser Cut Design Patterns:** Incorporating laser cut designs into furniture pieces to add linear details that contrast with other materials such as acrylic or glass. - **Textured Acrylic Panels:** Using imperfect oval or other textured patterns on acrylic panels to add depth, dimension and character to furniture pieces. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** Furniture companies can explore using mixed materials and eye-catching visual effects in their designs, allowing them to stand out and command higher price points. - **Laser Cutting Industry:** Companies in the laser cutting industry can expand into furniture design by experimenting with intricate laser cut patterns on different materials, creating unique pieces with high demand for customization. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can utilize visually intriguing furniture pieces like Regina to add depth and character to a room, helping to create a one-of-a-kind space for their clients. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimal Four-Legged Wooden Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/exposure-cabinet.md) - [Crystalline Acrylic Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/draga-aurel-flare-collection.md) - [Colorful Minimally Designed Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colour-cabinet.md) - [Modern Tonal Cabinet Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/curved-cabinetry-collection.md) - [Cabinet-Concealed Modern Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/obelisk-3.md) - [Forest-Inspired Wooden Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hayashi-cabinet.md) - [Stylish Oakwood Storage Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moose-cabinet.md) - [Japanese-Inspired Cabinet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/veil-cabinets.md) - [Maternal-Themed Sculptural Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mother-and-child.md)
