# Precarious Pinching Wine Racks The AC Bottle Holder Grips Vessels, Looking Delicate and Dicey By Amelia Roblin | Published 2014-03-23 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ac-bottle-holder References: [tuvie](http://www.tuvie.com/ac-bottle-holder-by-alex-casabo/) & [alexcasabo](http://www.alexcasabo.com/alex/ACBottleholder.html) With the AC Bottle Holder, you have an effective [wine rack](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/enofilo) for your collection of delicious grape-derived alcohol, as well as a bit of a visual spectacle. Àlex Casabò designed this shelf so that it would clutch the vessels by their [slender necks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-stopper-1), making it look as though they are at risk of slipping out and onto the floor. A closer observation of the notched ledge reveals tight slots with a rubber lining that grips the glass and the subtle ridges beneath the cap of the vino. Simply slide your [pinots and your rieslings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/curated-european-wine) in from the front, pull them down gently and the AC Bottle Holder will establish a firm grasp. This allows you to mount your rack high up on the wall of your kitchen, displaying your scrumptious assortment on your choice of wood. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 78% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Innovative Wine Storage:** The precarious pinching wine rack design presents an opportunity for innovative wine storage solutions that prioritize visual appeal and functionality. - **Visual Spectacle in Home Decor:** The AC Bottle Holder's visually striking design showcases the trend of incorporating unique and eye-catching elements into home decor. - **Secure Display Methods:** The rubber-lined gripping mechanism of the AC Bottle Holder inspires the development of secure and elegant display methods for fragile objects. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** The precarious pinching wine rack design opens up opportunities for innovative furniture designs that combine functionality with aesthetic appeal. - **Home Decor:** The AC Bottle Holder taps into the trend of incorporating visually appealing and unconventional pieces into home decor, creating opportunities for niche products in the industry. - **Wine Accessories:** The AC Bottle Holder's unique gripping mechanism can inspire the creation of innovative wine accessory designs that enhance both storage and display capabilities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wine-Catered Vibrant Artful Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-table.md) - [Customizable Wine Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elegant-wine-cabinet.md) - [Space-Saving Wine Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-splitglass.md) - [Sleek Smart Wine Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-climate-cabinet.md) - [Premium Wine Storage Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/premium-wine-storage.md) - [Wine-Storage Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/placemat-hightop-table.md) - [Tripod-Like Garment Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-coat-rack.md) - [Progressive Wine Climate Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-climate-cabinets.md) - [Cabinet Drawer Wine Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dometic-drawbar.md)
