Seth Grahame-Smith's latest novel makes it seem as if he has a fixation with re-writing history. At least he makes it interesting. Considering how [popular vampires](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colourpop-x-twilight) are right now, I'm sure 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter,' dubbed a 'semi-fiction' by Uncrate, will be well received. I'm highly interested in seeing how Grahame-Smith spins the life of America's 16th president. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 7% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Business](https://www.trendhunter.com/business) > [Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/books) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Vampire-themed Literature:** Opportunity to capitalize on the current popularity of vampires in literature and media by creating new vampire-themed novels and stories. - **Historical Fiction Mash-up:** Opportunity to create mash-up novels that blend historical events with supernatural or fictional elements to attract readers with a unique twist on familiar stories. - **Alternative History:** Opportunity to explore alternative historical narratives that challenge traditional views and capture the imagination of readers. ### Who This Affects Most - **Publishing:** Opportunity for publishers to invest in vampire-themed novels and historical fiction mash-ups to cater to the current market demand. - **Film and Television:** Opportunity for film and television producers to adapt vampire-themed novels and historical fiction mash-ups into movies or TV shows to capitalize on the popularity of these genres. - **Cosplay and Merchandise:** Opportunity for cosplay designers and merchandise manufacturers to create products inspired by vampire-themed literature and historical fiction mash-ups, targeting fans of these genres. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Fake Tomato Sauce Blood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heinz-tomato-blood-ketchup-1.md) - [Alternative History Action Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-blood-of-dawnwalker.md) - [Chilling Filmic Scents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heretic-parfum-nosferatu.md) - [Vampire-Hunting PC Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/redfall.md) - [Vampiric Car Commercials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mercedesbenz-immortal-love.md) - [Horror Movie-Inspired Popcorn Buckets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/popcorn-coffin.md) - [Vampire Film Makeup Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colourpops-twilight-makeup.md) - [Horror Film-Inspired Cookbooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/death-for-dinner-cookbook.md) - [Endless Horde Survival Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vampire-survivors-switch.md)
