Abaci automatically assesses designs and suggests the [ideal font sizes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/font-tester) for the different pieces of text on that page. The [text ratios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vibeberry) employed by Abaci are based on the Fibonacci sequence, a mathematical pattern found in nature and frequently co-opted by designers and architects because of its inherent attractiveness. Regardless of whether one's design uses pixels or points, all designers need to do is input the size of text that they know they'll be using, and Abaci automatically tells them what sizes to use for all the other text on the page. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Automated Text Scale Editors:** 'Abaci' suggests font sizes based on mathematics. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Design Software:** Opportunity for software companies to develop automated text scale editors for designers. - **Graphic Design:** Potential for designers to incorporate automated text scale editors into their workflow. - **Architecture:** Chance for architects to utilize automated text scale editors based on mathematical patterns in their designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Font Pairing Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/letter-pair.md) - [Architectural Design Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archiscale.md) - [Mood-Based Typography Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/font-moodify.md) - [Personalized Font-Finding Algorithms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/font-vibes.md) - [Customizable Calculator Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/designable-calculator.md) - [Web Typography Inspectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fontviz.md) - [AI Design Assistants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ideatumai.md) - [Design Productivity Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1-click-utility.md) - [Visual Design Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/textbehind.md)
