The project questions our culture's love affair with hyper-documentation and technology. This [live art installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multimedia-art-installation) takes a body walking through New York streets with [ten cameras strapped to it](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moon-walker-multi-cam) which gives the viewer a 360 degree view of the body's movement. Watch the video for a look at how the performance/installation 'A Series of Walks' works. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 20% | Activity: 84% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Hyper-documentation Art:** Opportunity to explore new ways of documenting experiences using technology to challenge our love affair with hyper-documentation. - **Interactive Art Installations:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to create immersive experiences that engage the viewer and question our relationship with technology. - **Reimagining Street View:** Potential for rethinking how we navigate and experience virtual environments to challenge our reliance on technology for documentation. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Culture:** Opportunity for artists to push the boundaries of traditional art forms by incorporating technology in their creative expressions. - **Virtual Reality:** Innovation potential to revolutionize virtual reality experiences by integrating live action and interactive elements for a more immersive and thought-provoking engagement. - **Digital Photography and Imaging:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to explore new ways of capturing and presenting images that challenge our preconceived notions of reality and documentation. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Thought-Provoking Interactive Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antibodies-installation.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Digital City-Inspired Art Works](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-central-station.md) - [Robotic Digital Surveillance Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accept-all.md) - [Digital Audio-Visual Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audiovisual-exhibition.md) - [Digital Expo Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/after-utopia.md) - [Interactive Mountain Oracles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whispering-mountains.md) - [Illuminated Curtained Light Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/making-the-invisible-visible.md) - [Human Connection-Themed Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/satellite-exhibition.md)
