These buses use 80% less energy than most diesel equivalents. The introduction of these electric buses is part of the ElectriCity scheme, which seeks to make [public transport](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vertically-integrated-smart-transit-system) as sustainable as possible. These exhaust-free buses, which can carry up to 86 passengers and feature modern and welcoming interiors, will be powered by electricity from a range of renewable sources. These vehicles set to help their community in two ways. Public transport buses reduce car traffic, reducing pollution as well as traffic congestion.
