Illustrator and calligrapher Benjamin Harff from Germany has been working close to two years on a work of love of the [J.R.R. Tolkien story](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-shire-set) ‘The Silmarilion,’ which is among the best, if not the best, works on the book ever made.

Harff has contacted the Tolkien estate in hopes of securing a deal to publish the book as a [deluxe version](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-seiko-book).

So far there hasn’t been any response back, but hopefully they’ll take a look at the work of Harff and appreciate what he has done with this one-of-a-kind work, which many Tolkien fans would love to include with their [personal libraries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/illustrated-bookmarks).
