This particular tiny home even features such luxuries as an upstairs lounge, balcony area and a home office space. Built to order for a price of $75,000 the Sheriff tiny home also features a truly unique aesthetic thanks to the use of eco-friendly wood sidings, high-contrast white detailing and an eye-catching stained balcony. The home is equipped with a kitchen that is fitted with a four-burner propane range cooker, refrigerator, sink and washing machine, while the bathroom features a toilet, sink and wooden tub with an overheard shower. The Sheriff tiny home can also be built by anyone willing to pay $250 for the plans, making this a great example of [open-source architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fowler-ward-x-base-cabin). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 86% | Activity: 70% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Luxury Tiny Homes:** Opportunity to develop premium features in tiny homes such as balcony area and walk-in closets. - **Eco-friendly Tiny Homes:** Opportunity to use eco-friendly materials in tiny homes to create unique aesthetic designs. - **Open-source Architecture for Tiny Homes:** Opportunity to provide blueprint plans for unique tiny home designs. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Residential Construction Industry:** Opportunity to enter the tiny home building market and cater to individuals looking for smaller living spaces. - **Eco-friendly Building Materials Industry:** Opportunity to provide sustainable and eco-friendly building materials for tiny home construction. - **Home Office and Small-space Furniture Industry:** Opportunity to create unique furniture pieces specifically designed for the limited space available in tiny homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rooftop Terrace Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxury-tiny-house.md) - [Ultra-Efficient Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hirondelle-tiny-house.md) - [Move-in-Ready Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiny-house-on-wheels.md) - [Spacious Cottage-Like Luxe Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-sky.md) - [Enclosed Porch Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/escape-evista-king.md) - [Warm Compact Living](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-spruce.md) - [Dormer-Accented Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lexington-tiny-house.md) - [Expanded Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ochoco.md) - [Cozy Smart Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sonoma.md)
