Out of a wide variety of trees, Urban Hardwoods produces one-of-a-kind household pieces, all hand-crafted and characterized by rich-grained wood surfaces and unique organic forms. The rustic furniture collection includes some truly stunning pieces that include a [solid Chinese elm side table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wicker-side-table), a clover-leaf-shaped coffee table made from the cross-section of red cedar, a robust black walnut desk, a madrone wood dinner table with a naturally split “Y” end, and even an eye-catching bed headboard crafted out of an old tree shell. Superb as the Urban Hardwoods creations may be, though, with a price range of $1,000 to $10,000, nature obviously does not come cheap; it is rustic, but it’s called luxury for a reason. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 70% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Custom Luxury Rustic Wood Furniture:** The trend of custom luxury rustic wood furniture offers disruptive innovation opportunities for manufacturers to create unique and personalized pieces for customers. - **Hand-crafted Organic Furniture:** The trend of hand-crafted organic furniture presents disruptive innovation opportunities for artisans and craftsmen to showcase their skills and create one-of-a-kind pieces. - **Nature-inspired Home Decor:** The trend of nature-inspired home decor provides disruptive innovation opportunities for designers and retailers to create unique and environmentally friendly products that bring a touch of nature into people's homes. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** The furniture manufacturing industry can explore disruptive innovation opportunities by incorporating custom luxury rustic wood furniture into their product offerings. - **Artisan Crafts:** The artisan crafts industry can seize disruptive innovation opportunities by specializing in hand-crafted organic furniture and showcasing unique artistic creations. - **Home Decor Retail:** The home decor retail industry can tap into disruptive innovation opportunities by curating and selling nature-inspired decor products that appeal to eco-conscious consumers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Unique Burl-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/don-heston-studio.md) - [Extravagant Handcrafted Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handcrafted-furniture.md) - [Felled Tree Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ptacek-home-chunk-line.md) - [Naturalistic Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/back-to-nature-collection.md) - [Wood-Centric Simple Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collective-collection.md) - [Imperfect Timber Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/no1-common.md) - [Wilderness-Inspired Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/habitat-collection.md) - [Striking Wood Furniture Silhouettes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/irish-furniture-design.md) - [Elegant Woodturned Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woodturned-furniture.md)
