The Plum money management app helps users to manage their money, with the ability to link to their bank accounts using AI technology. Plum previously was only available on Facebook messenger, but has since released an iOS version. An Android version is also in the works. As the app transitions from Facebook messenger to iOS and eventually Android, it should find itself more accessible to mobile users.
The app has a broad range of functions including savings, investing and paying bills. The savings function of the app takes stock of outgoing funds and operates by using an algorithm to inform users what they can and can’t afford. The app can also determine if you are paying too much on your bills and will suggest switching suppliers if better options are available.
