# Satellite Graffiti TV Show Inspires 60-foot Phallus That's Viewable From Google Earth By Geebee Micro | Published 2009-03-27 | Naughty Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Phallus-Penis-Large-Huge-Painting References: [gather](http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474977638912&nav=Groupspace&grpId=3659174697244816) When 18-year-old Rory McInnes watched a television program last year about Google Earth, somehow it inspired him to [paint a 60-foot phallus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-zero) on the top of his parents' luxury home. Amazingly, Rory did this over a year ago, and not until a helicopter flew over the home and spied his artwork, did the media get hold of the story, along with his parents. Fortunately for Rory, he's out traveling at this time, but also unfortunately for Rory, when he returns home, his parents said he "will have to scrub it off when he gets back from traveling." Looking at [his masterpiece](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dish-pics), I don't think anyone has any concerns about Rory pursuing an art career. Evidently, he does have delusions of grandeur. On the bright side, who knew the fertility gods were watching over the family for a year? ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.4/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Naughty](https://www.trendhunter.com/naughty) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Satellite Art:** The trend of using satellite imagery as a canvas for artistic expression. - **Youthful Creativity:** The trend of young individuals using unconventional methods to express their creativity. - **Viral Sensations:** The trend of unconventional acts gaining widespread attention through social media. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Digital Art:** The industry focused on creating and selling digital artworks. - **Tourism:** The industry that caters to travelers and tourists. - **Social Media:** The industry centered around online platforms for sharing and connecting with others. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Global Pixel Canvas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wplace.md) - [Enigmatic Graffiti Incidents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/enigmatic-graffiti.md) - [Giant Chicken-Like Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heir-and-a-spare.md) - [Sculptural Writing Piece](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sterling-silver-penis-pen.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Iconic Bag-Inspired Art Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-birk.md) - [Whimsical Home Tours](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-pillsbury-doughboy.md) - [Moon-Bound Architectural Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonhouse-project.md) - [Gas Rig Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/striking-art-installation.md)
