Each one of her pieces is individually crafted by hand and wheel thrown. Bould shares in an interview that her inspiration ranges from [Matisse](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/matisse-inspired-cocktails) and [Picasso](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-picasso), to brutalist architecture. This is backed up by the monochromatic color scheme, the hint of abstract forms and the scaling of singular or patterned geometrical shapes. With a background in illustration, Hannah Bould has an affinity toward good design. With regards to the physical manifestation of her work, she is not afraid to experiment with shape nor form. On average, Hannah produces 20 pieces in the morning, which she later glazes and decorates. Her modern geometric ceramics make for the perfect artisan housewarming gift or cottage dishware. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 34% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Geometric Modern Ceramics:** Opportunity to create modern and minimalist ceramics with clean pattern designs. ### Where This Applies - **Artisan Houseware:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to create geometric ceramics as unique and stylish housewarming gifts. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity to incorporate modern geometric ceramics into interior design projects for a minimalist and artistic touch. - **Cottage Dishware:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to provide trendy and modern dishware options for cottage and rustic-themed kitchens. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ceramic Modern Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hillsborough-residence.md) - [Adorable Ceramic Homeware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-homeware1.md) - [Innovative Ceramic Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-tableware1.md) - [Playful Ceramic Forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beginner-ceramics.md) - [Handmade Modern Ceramics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-gunia-project.md) - [Colorful Handmade Ceramics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloud-9-clay.md) - [Large Structural Ceramic Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/olivia-cognet.md) - [Sculpted Rhythm Forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-kinetic-collection.md) - [Geometric Ceramic Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/limn-collection.md)
