This luxurious abode was built to work in conjunction with the natural surroundings to offer the residents the ideal scenic views. The challenge with this glass home was designing an infrastructure that was functional and modern as well as allowed the owners to see the gorgeous scenic landscape from any point in the house. The home's perimeter walls are made entirely from [floor to ceiling glass panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-ridge). These sheets of glass allow the [natural light to come in](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-gesso) during the day. Thankfully the home is located in Florida so heating isn't an issue. The interior is modern, open concept and spacious with wooden walls and modern appliances. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 26% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Glass Home Design:** Opportunity for architects and designers to create innovative and functional glass-based structures that offer panoramic views. - **Scenic Integration:** Potential for architects to design homes that seamlessly blend with natural surroundings, providing residents with breathtaking views. - **Open Concept Living:** Opportunity for interior designers to create spacious and modern living spaces with open floor plans and stylish furnishings. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Architecture:** Architects can explore the use of glass panels and innovative materials to create modern and functional homes with stunning views. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can create modern and stylish living spaces that enhance the open concept living trend. - **Real Estate:** Real estate developers can market glass homes with scenic integration as unique and luxurious properties offering unparalleled views. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [All-Glass Mesmerizing Compact Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beaufort-bushland-retreat.md) - [Glass‑brick Belgian Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-brick-house.md) - [Glass-Reflective Illuminated Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invisible-house.md) - [Apple Tree-Surrounding Glass Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acdf.md) - [Transparent Shell-Covered Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-brisa.md) - [Chic Curved Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/curved-house1.md) - [Glass Philosophical Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-ridge.md) - [Asian Material Suburban Residents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-ridge-house.md) - [Juxtaposing South Californian Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emerald-bay.md)
