# Playable Interactive Art Visualize the Thinking Process with ‘Crystallisation of Thought’ By Living Spirits | Published 2019-03-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Crystallization-of-Thought References: [livingspirits.art](http://livingspirits.art/project/cystallizationofthought/) & [livingspirits.art](http://livingspirits.art/project/cystallizationofthought/) Visualize the thinking process with ‘Crystallization of Thought,’ an installation that invites viewers to enjoy a light show and be a part of it by bouncing ideas with a pong game. More than 800 [light bulbs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shapes-of-light), covered with lightweight transparent crystal figures were hung between Clarke Quay Central and the Singapore River, forming a giant screen to display the light show and pong arena. The light show depicts the abstract audio-visual of the thinking process behind the successful innovation in four acts. First, a brainstorm gathers ideas that will be crystallized, then the possibilities will be researched, followed by the crystallization of the winning thought, and the idea being lit up, coming to life. Not only sitting by the river and enjoy the light show, but the visitors can also play this [interactive game on the installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phenomena). Just grab the D-Pad, hit the start button, and let the ball bounce the same way we bounce the idea with friends. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.4/10 - Popularity: 31% | Activity: 93% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Playable Interactive Art:** The use of interactive art installations is a disruptive trend that provides businesses with new ways to engage and entertain their customers. - **Visualizing Creative Processes:** Creating visualizations of creative processes like the 'Crystallization of Thought' installation can inspire businesses to adopt more innovative and efficient brainstorming practices. - **Innovative Light Shows:** As seen in 'Crystallization of Thought,' using technologically advanced light shows can offer businesses a unique way to showcase their brand and products in a visually impressive manner. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art Installations:** Art installations that incorporate interactive elements like 'Crystallization of Thought' provide new opportunities for artists and event planners to engage their audiences and create memorable experiences. - **Marketing and Events:** Marketing and event planning companies can leverage the trend of playable interactive art to create attention-grabbing campaigns and events that will attract a wider audience and increase engagement. - **Technology and Lighting:** Technology and lighting companies can explore opportunities to develop innovative light shows and installations that incorporate interactive elements and offer unique and memorable experiences for their clients' events and campaigns. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Orb Lighting Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mangrove-island.md) - [Dynamic Interactive Lighting Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zava.md) - [Interactive Mountain Oracles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whispering-mountains.md) - [Wonderous Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Intricate Lighting Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/objects-of-common-interest1.md) - [Reflective Ping-Pong Parlour Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/match-point-installation.md) - [Immersive Crystal Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immersive-crystal-installation.md) - [Fluid Function Art Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optical-flow.md) - [Urban Soundscape Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moment-installation.md)
