The exhibit is titled ‘Alley-Oop’ and features organic and whimsical shapes that are displayed in a palette of technicolored tones. Looking to architecture for reference, Eric Trine and Will Bryant created a stunning sculpture that plays with shape, color and dimension. Their creation is sensory and playful, evoking a powerful spirit and an air of happiness. The designers are no stranger to Poketo gallery founders Ted Vadakan and Angie Myung who they have collaborated with in the past and are sure to impress LA’s gallerist elite with this colorful art installation project. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Live Arts](https://www.trendhunter.com/livearts) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Whimsical Sculpture:** A trend of creating colorful and organic sculptures that evoke a powerful and playful spirit. - **Colorful Art Installation:** A trend of using vibrant technicolored tones in art installations to create a sensory and playful experience. - **Architectural Inspiration:** A trend of looking to architecture for reference in creating innovative and visually stunning sculptures and installations. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art Galleries:** Opportunity for art galleries to showcase and promote whimsical sculptures and colorful art installations that captivate visitors and evoke emotions. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for interior designers to incorporate whimsical sculptures and colorful art installations in their projects to add a sense of playfulness and happiness to spaces. - **Event Planning:** Opportunity for event planners to include whimsical sculptures and colorful art installations in events to create a memorable and visually striking experience for attendees. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wonderous Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Vibrant Inclusive Playground Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/falling-into-place.md) - [Colorful Texture Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorscape-installation.md) - [Vibrantly Pink Skelter Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stay-playful.md) - [Lightning-Inspired Artful Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bright-light-shining.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Psychedelic Sculptural Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frank-stella-recent-sculpture.md) - [Brain-Like Labyrinths](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brash-collective.md) - [Community-Centric Sculptural Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playful-sculptures.md)
