Available on the Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, the feature uses color-coded lights to communicate timely information without requiring users to unlock or view their phones. Different light patterns can indicate whether Gemini is listening, thinking or responding, while customizable colors can identify incoming calls from selected contacts. This creates a glanceable interface for prioritizing information while minimizing interruptions. For Google, HiLight provides another way to differentiate Pixel hardware through deeper integration between physical design and Gemini. The feature could make AI interactions feel more intuitive while appealing to consumers interested in [reducing digital distractions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-flip).
