The 90degrees Adapter is a small but ingenious solution to a frustrating feature of audio-enabled devices. Whether you're using your gadgets at home or on the go, it's common to bash the typical protruding piece, potentially damaging your [headphone jack](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/andaash) or the pin attached to your [earbuds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/true-wireless-earbud). Mohammad Reza Navaei's suggestion was to separate the shaft of the plug into two with a diagonal break, enabling the tip of the needle to pivot and crook. A 180-degree rotation reorients the plug perpendicular to that of the escaping cord, reducing the component's length and consequently shortening the extent of its protrusion. The 90degrees Adapter Earbuds streamlines your setup for convenience and equipment protection. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 46% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Swiveling Plugs:** The trend of swiveling plugs creates opportunities for innovative designs that prioritize convenience and device protection. - **Streamlined Device Usage:** The trend of streamlining device usage through adapters and connectors opens up possibilities for user-friendly solutions to common frustrations. - **Equipment Protection:** The trend of designing products to protect equipment, such as headphone jacks, showcases the demand for innovative solutions that prioritize durability and longevity. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Electronics Manufacturing:** The electronics manufacturing industry can capitalize on the trend of swiveling plugs by creating innovative and user-friendly headphone designs with adjustable angles. - **Audio Accessories:** The audio accessories industry has an opportunity to develop and market adapters and connectors that streamline device usage and protect headphone jacks. - **Consumer Electronics:** The consumer electronics industry can benefit from the trend of equipment protection by incorporating innovative features that safeguard headphone jacks and other essential components. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Contoured Ear-Hugging Headphone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/earbugs.md) - [Detachable Dual-Mode Headphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/streamline-hybrid-earphones.md) - [Earring Earbud Concept Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zhang-yunxib.md) - [Affordable Headphone Adapters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maxell-sync-up.md) - [Ergonomic Dual-Function Earbuds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bored-buds.md) - [Angular Cable Adapters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/12vhpwr.md) - [Hybrid Overear Headphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oscene-ear.md) - [Accessible Power Cord Attachments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ipull.md) - [Fashion-Forward Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/openear-earbud-concept.md)
