Völker's passion for art translates into his latest venture that is a stunning sight of [hypnotic visuals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immersive-lighting-experience). Interestingly, these [lighting fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-lighting-design) are normally used for backlights and computer screens. The internal light drawn from these fixtures is controlled by a power supply that dictates the height of illumination in each tube. The installation appears to explode from the ground against a black background, and makes for an entertaining show of technology and art. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 81% | Activity: 57% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Florescent Art Installations:** Artists using traditional light fixtures in innovative ways to create hypnotic visuals for entertainment. - **Sound to Art Installations:** Innovative designers ideating with devices that translate sound to paintings and installations. - **Synesthesia-inspired Art Installations:** Artists exploring installation designs that play with different sensory inputs to create unique experiences. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art Installations:** Artists creating experiential, mesmerizing designs that play with traditional lighting fixtures. - **Interior Lighting Design:** Designers creating unique, hypnotic lighting fixtures to create immersive experiences in living spaces. - **Entertainment Technology:** Designers creating innovative technology solutions to create immersive, engaging visual experiences for entertainment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Illuminated Curtained Light Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/making-the-invisible-visible.md) - [Wonderous Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Immersive Light Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Stunningly Intricate Light Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shapes-of-light.md) - [Fluid Function Art Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optical-flow.md) - [Suspended Lighting Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suspended-lighting-installation.md) - [Intricate Lighting Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/objects-of-common-interest1.md) - [immersive artful bright installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chroma-installation.md) - [Neon Illuminated Christmas Trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fluorescence.md)
