[Balbek Bureau](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balbek-bureau) transformed 6:19 Studio into a [sparse minimalistic space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retail-environment). Taking queues from the tattoo parlor's minimalist art style, the design firm translated the shop with jarring wall cut-outs set in a white-based color scheme. Located on the ground floor of a residential building in Kyiv's historic Podil neighborhood, the space boasts 111 square meters.

Owned by Ukrainian artist Ulyana Nesheva, the studio opted for a design that portrays simplicity in its highest form of complexity. The juxtaposing themes make for an open-plan layout using a [monochrome palette of black and white](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/12-matcha-caf) paired with concrete and stainless steel. Resembling a contemporary art workshop, the parlor uses round and rectangular wall openings instead of doors to separate spaces.
