Ashlee Wells Jackson has deviated from her usual pin-up photography to create the ‘4th Trimester Bodies Project.’

The project's intent is to embrace the changes of women’s bodies post-pregnancy and showcase their beauty. As a mother of three, Jackson had a difficult time accepting her body's transformation after her most recent pregnancy and realized that this was probably a feeling other mothers struggled with.

The objective of this series is to challenge the demands women are put under to resemble an unreasonable physical ideal and accept the “[scars, stripes and stretches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unseenbeauty-initiative)” that come with motherhood. Check out Jackson’s inspiring and touching photo series that promotes [body acceptance for mothers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/working-mothers) everywhere.
