Design studio 'Nervous Systems' has produced a beautiful line of 3D-printed jewelry called 'Floraform.' The [necklaces, rings and bracelets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/organicinspired-jewelry) in the line are all inspired by the biomechanics of [blooming flowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/structural-botany) and growing tree leaves.

The unique jewelry is made through the use of algorithms that are based on the shapes of nature. As the designers explain, "each piece emerges from a computational simulation of differential growth, a surface that grows at different rates in different locations." Using this method of 3D printing, the designers were able to create 24 distinct pieces out of sliver and nylon.

There are three major themes among the 3D-printed jewelry with one group inspired by iris flowers, one group inspired by the arms of jellyfish and the last group merging elements of both.
