Lukas Peet, a Vancouver-based designer, created a 3D-printed incense holder that features a geometric design. The designer created the Scent Tray by using a [direct metal laser 3D Printer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haibu) to form intricate shapes from steel powder.

Peet aimed to create a product that was made solely from this particular technology, focusing of the product itself while still showcasing the advancements of the craft. By creating a simple yet refined product, the designer made something that will subtly attract attention to the upward elegance of the smoke and the abrupt [downfall of the ash](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ash-blackwood-ashtray) into a hidden space.

Lukas Peet wanted the new 3D-printed incense holder to feature a concave disk shaped tray that will look different from every angle.
