These 3D-printed floors are a sustainable and customizable flooring solution. Dutch company Aectual installed their first floor at Tokyo's flagship Loft store and plan on installing a new floor next month at Amsterdam's Schipol Airport.

Aectual uses [enormous robots to 3D print](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qr3d) custom designs on large enough surfaces for public spaces. They "enable designers and companies to realize tailor-made designs at any building" to build a more beautiful and resilient future. The environmentally friendly venture uses a [recycled bio-plastic material](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loop-concept) for their 3D-printed floors with a terrazzo infill. Designed to last a long time, Aectual floors translates one of a kind design into signature flooring. The product was officially launched recently (October 21) at Dutch Design Week.
