3D printing and robotics come together beautifully, as seen in this [3D-printed robot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/makerworld-cyberbrick) named MobBob by Australian video game developer Kevin Chan.

The animated bot has a big smartphone screen for a face and legs that let it rove around. Since the smartphone makes up most of MobBob's components, this is a clever way to cut down on costs. In terms of controls, MobBob is controlled by 4 servos and an [Arduino](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bipedal-robots) controller with Bluetooth technology built-in. After creating MobBob, Chan's open-source design has been shared online at Thingverse, so that anyone can recreate the bot on their own. Although most of the robot can be 3D-Printed, it's most of the electrical components that need to be acquired in order for the device to function properly.
