At this years New York International Auto Show, the 3D-printed Gran Torino made an appearance. It looks like it could have been molded together in outer space. The 3D-printed Gran Torino was created by Ioan Florea. The liquid metal look is reminiscent of the 1971 version of the [Ford](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2024-ford-mustang-gtd) Gran Torino.

Florea recently gave an interview and said that "The actual 3D printing is basic. Design the shapes, slice them, generate the G-code and print them." The scary looking muscle car is his vision of the [old-school Ford muscle car](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1970-plymouth-cuda). The lines of this vehicle aren't exactly as smooth as the car in real life, but it definitely looks like something from a scary movie. Who knows, this could be the [car of the future](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meta-turismo).
