# Pivoting Timber Fixtures The 360° Lamp Can Be Easily Redirected to Illuminate Any Item or Act By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-02-20 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/360-lamp References: [notcot.org](http://www.notcot.org/post/52692/) & [bongo-design](http://www.bongo-design.com/blogs/news/7036888-360-lamps-are-ready) It would not be right to call the 360° Lamp simple, even though it embodies an [obvious minimalism](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-lighting-design). Both models of the charming little light fixture are assembled quite unelaborately of a wireframe stand and a timber block head, with the second component permitted to swivel around the first in a full circle. If a beam of light is required beneath, above or behind the desk lamp, you may not even need to shift the [bent metal base](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pivoting-lamps-collection). Easily tilt the lumber lightbulb box in the direction required and you can rotate it further as necessary. The only thing stopping the Bongo Design 360° Lamp from being able to be wound around and around again is the colorful electrical cord that escapes from the back. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Minimalist Lighting Fixtures:** Designing lighting fixtures with a minimalist approach and easy pivoting abilities. - **Swiveling Timber Blocks:** Developing timber block components that can swivel around other structures. - **Adjustable 360° Lighting:** Creating versatile and easily adjustable lighting fixtures using wireframe stands and timber blocks. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Applying this technology to improve modern interior lighting systems. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Incorporating the swiveling timber blocks to add a functional design element to furniture. - **Architecture:** Using the 360° Lamp to enhance the lighting designs of modern architecture. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Compact Geometric Portable Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pivot-lamp.md) - [Ultra-Flexible Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anywhereuse-lamp.md) - [Adjustable Sculptural Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ovo-lamp.md) - [Simplistic Angular Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linear-table-lamp.md) - [Tiltable Dimmable Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nod-lamp.md) - [Interactive Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tangent-lamp.md) - [Multifunctional Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-boring-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Wooden Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp.md) - [3D-Printed Reversed Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/revolve-lamp.md)
