When Kaleb Kidd of La Crosse, Wisconsin was out [chasing squirrels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yellowstone-yosemite), he got to be the hero of the dream every little boy has when he found a 30,000-year-old tooth from an extinct woolly mammoth. At first it looked like a rock, but on close inspection, Kaleb's grandfather suspected that it was a fossil. They took it to the [Mississippi Valley Archaeology Center](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diner-week-lineup) and were told that it was indeed the [tooth of a woolly mammoth](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mastodon-mascot). Kaleb was very excited and the tooth is currently on display at the Satori Arts Gallery.
