The crib features a gold plated exterior as well as a leather interior made from the same material as the seats in Maseratis. The [mattress of the crib](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/organic-crib-mattress1) is flexible, totally natural and hypoallergenic, and was chosen to mimic the feel of being in the womb. The 24-karat gold crib was designed to function not just as a luxury piece of furniture, but to also be an incredibly comfortable bed for infants. The crib was supposedly intended for infants born prematurely. The crib currently costs $60,000 and takes an alleged 200,000 man hours to construct.
