# Abstract Plank Wine Racks The Dakota Leaning 24 Bottle Wine Rack Stores Bottles Obscurely By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2017-04-05 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/24-bottle-wine-rack References: [thegreenhead](http://www.thegreenhead.com/2017/03/dakota-24-bottle-leaning-wine-rack.php) & [crateandbarrel](https://www.crateandbarrel.com/dakota-24-bottle-leaning-wine-rack/s193102) The Dakota Leaning 24 Bottle Wine Rack is designed with an abstract aesthetic that make it a stylish choice for those who want to keep their wine stored in an artistic manner. The wine rack features a steel base that holds a plank of European oak in place that has been treated with a series of holes that keep wine bottles in place. This enables the wine to be kept floating in place with a distinctly unorthodox design that instantly turns one's collection into a work of art. The Dakota Leaning 24 Bottle Wine Rack is made in Poland and features the ability to trace the wood origin via a dated and signed tag that allows owners to see when and where it was produced. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 46% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Artistic Wine Storage:** An opportunity for designers to create unique and aesthetically pleasing wine storage solutions. - **Innovative Wine Rack Design:** There is a growing demand for wine racks that have a unique design to complement home decor. - **Sustainable Wine Storage:** There is an opportunity for environmentally conscious consumers to purchase wine racks made from sustainable materials. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Design:** Furniture designers can explore the development of unique and visually interesting wine racks. - **Home Decor:** There is an opportunity for innovative home decor brands to produce visually appealing wine storage solutions. - **Sustainable Manufacturing:** Wine rack manufacturers can investigate the use of sustainable materials to create environmentally-friendly products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wine-Catered Vibrant Artful Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-table.md) - [Wine-Storage Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/placemat-hightop-table.md) - [Premium Wine Storage Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/premium-wine-storage.md) - [Abstract Jigsaw-Like Shelving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spectator-shelf.md) - [Customizable Wine Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elegant-wine-cabinet.md) - [Wine Storage Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roll-side-table.md) - [Label-Less Wine Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crate-by-fourth-wave-wines.md) - [Sculptural Whisky Decanters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artistry-in-oak.md) - [Sizable Wine Refrigerators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/equator-advanced-appliances.md)
