This sculptural artwork is unlike any other self-portrait, as it appears to be a skinless portrayal of the artist's face. This is just the latest 3-D printed artwork created by Harker, who has also designed dramatic printed runway accessories and various intricate sculptures. For this intriguing self-portrait project Harker used a 3-D scan of his face and a CT scan of his skull to ensure complete accuracy. This eye-catching sculpture also contains the kind of intricate details and patterns that Harker's works are known for, which keeps things visually interesting. After unveiling his unusual self-portrait, Harker cleverly began taking orders to create custom masks for art fans using a 3-D facial scanner. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 64% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Whimsical Self-Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christine-mcconnell.md) - [Strikingly Surreal Self-Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logan-zillmer.md) - [Magically Surreal Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/background-sets.md) - [Hilarious Kissing Self-Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tommy-kha.md) - [Candid Humanimal Self-Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creative-selfportrait-series.md) - [Unusually Hairy Self-Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gerwyn-davis.md) - [Portrait-Infused Classical Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/classical-style.md) - [Mysterious Self-Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfportrait-series.md) - [Ghostly Cinematic Self Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ghostly-self-portraits.md)
